So we've taken all of the chores off your list.  All you have to do is show up and HAVE FUN!  The rest is our job:

Wardrobe and style?  We've got you covered with our IN HOME wardrobe consultations where we guide you in the best look for your session.  We even offer professional hair and make up services included as our gift to you for every custom session!

Worried about Texas weather?  No sweat!  We can shoot your session out in the Texas sunshine, OR in our private AIR CONDITIONED downtown MCKINNEY STUDIO.

What about getting the kids' (and let's be honest - the husband's) cooperation?  We've got you!  Creating a great experience for everyone is what we pride ourselves in, and it starts with a little time on the phone with the adults in the family to learn about all the personalities, passions, and priorities, so the kids will feel included at the session, and even your husband will be excited to be there!Our studio team will help wrangle the kids and keep the smiles and laughter flowing. We will even have snacks ready for you, so no one will lose their enthusiasm over a grumbly tummy.

Afraid you'll have awkward or unflattering photos?  NOT on MY watch!  With expert posing, camera angles, and lighting, ALL YOUR SIDES WILL BE GOOD!

I want to help you fully connect to each little detail of those fleeting first days and cherish them forever through an amazing newborn portrait experience. With more than ten years experience photographing newborns, I have developed a unique style that encompasses both rustic elements along with the clean and modern. The results are timeless, organic, and emotionally evocative photographs to bring you joy and complement any decor.I use light to set the mood of each image and to skillfully craft each photograph to showcase your newborn’s distinct features. Along with my experience with newborns in the studio, I proudly hold a certification in newborn portraiture from the Accredited Professional Newborn Photographers International and have received extensive training in newborn safety and posing, and I'm CPR certified. I’m also the mom of 7 and Grammy to 10. WE LOVE BABIES!

Our Maternity and Newborn Sessions

Because new life is my passion, I offer several ways to celebrate your budding new family. We start with highlighting the unique strength and beauty of an expectant mother infusing her personal style and personality in maternity photos featuring her in elegant and stylish gowns, fabric drapes, various accessories and props, and even sillouettes or implied nudes all done in tastefully artistic poses. Your session can include any loved ones that are a part of the story.  Our clients often want to include Dad in some romantic maternity photos or some fun and playful shots.  When baby is a sibling, many families choose to include some family maternity shots. These can be especially precious with siblings who are toddlers.  Of course, if you are a single mom, or choose to do your session showcasing only you, we will create a full range of gorgeous photos telling the story of your journey in the most stunning and elegant way. We offer studio maternity sessions and on location outdoor pregnancy photoshoots.

Our newborn sessions can also be for baby only, or include moms, dads, and siblings in  family newborn set ups.  You can request posed, "pure baby", or lifestyle session design. We stock a huge newborn wardrobe and prop closet with which to design your baby's unique session.  Our goal is always to make baby the star, creating timeless set ups that are adorable without feeling cluttered. For our minimalist and black and white portrait loving parents, we offer a "pure baby" option with white backgrounds and a pure, natural, etherial feel. In home lifestyle sessions are also available on a limited basis. When including family, mom may love our expanded mommy and me segments where mom gets to put back on a beautiful gown or fabric wrap to create a more elegant and evocative art piece.  If this appeals to you, please let us know at booking, so that we can properly plan for this ahead of time and discuss the details with you.
